First
Christian Church of Goldsboro begins Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. and Sunday
Worship at 11:00 a.m. Sunday School offers classes for children,
youth, and adults. We also have a special 'Children's Church' service
during the regular Worship service. For younger children we have a
nursery with experienced attendants.
We welcome visitors, feel free to join us any Sunday.

Christian Women's Fellowship, consisting of 5
groups, meets monthly at various times providing opportunities for spiritual
growth, enrichment, education, creative ministries and fellowships.
Christian Men's Fellowship, our men meet alternate months for a variety of
programs, work activities and service projects. They participate in
developing and initiating plans in the interest of the total Church program.
Christian Youth Fellowship, offers times of study, and activities as well as
service projects and trips. Our young people are involved in the full
ministry of the Church, including membership in the Diaconate.
Seasonal camps, conferences and retreats are also available.
A shepherding program, congregational luncheons, dinners, receptions, supper
sings, and Homecoming all reflect fellowship interests and activities as a
vital and essential part of our life together.

Pastor's class - During training sessions our minister helps
prepare the youth for church membership.

| Studies- Our church conducts various Bible studies,
leadership development, issues of faith and education concerns. |
Elder's Group - Under the minister's leadership our Elders
meet regularly to pray, study and improve skills in nurturing the congregation |

Vacation Bible School- First Christian, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and
St. Stephen's Episcopal
have joined together for Vacation Bible School for several years sharing
facilities and responsibilities.
